Sekirei - worth watching just for references. Ok, just kidding. The show will remind you of many, many others because it's derivative to the extreme. Furthermore, the visuals are mediocre, the music is cheesy, and the kick ass martial artist female main chara has sparkly pink wings. There isn't even that much fanservice, aside from characters having huge boobs. Conclusion: NOT recommended.

This is meant for people who are reading Inoue Takehiko's "Vagabond" or have read Eiji Yoshikawa's "Musashi" that the manga is based on, and wonder how the manga/book is holding up compared to the other. For those that haven't read either there are spoilers, of course, but I doubt they'd mean much in terms of spoiling the actual story.
